I made sure I learned how to read a map and that makes the world an easier place. Also, don't be afraid to stop at gas stations to ask for help. GPS units are nice, but I don't think they help all that much while driving.

Since i am a local delivery driver i usually know my way around town. But at times i have to go out in the boom docks. I bring there phone number with me if they are going to be home. Directions with me and sometimes they are good and sometimes not. If i still get lost out in the boom docks. Then i look for a fire/police station, auto repair shop and etc.

if scared about getting lost i would leave the driving to someone else, people like that are the ones that cause accidents.
have confidence and take charge of the road, not the other way around!!!

Go to Yahoo maps and print out the route you need to go.....

i have honestly never gotten lost because i prepair myself before i go with maps and info.
