i had a strange dream dealing with my husband and infidelity but does the dream try to tell me something wrong is happening or its just an unconscious fear.

I think it can be fear, or something that you realize is happening but your concious doesn't want to admit it
I had the same dream..and it came true
Plus everywhere I look there would be something about cheating, it was like the universe was sending me a sign
If you belive in that kind of stuff I'd atleast look into it, but don't jump to conclusions

Dreams are the unconscious mind talking to us. It only happens just before you wake (R.E.M sleep) or when hypnotized.
To put faith in dreams predicting the future is very dangerous and unfair to those other people involved in your dream.
You may have underlying fears or insecurities that may bring forth such a dream but it in no way is capable telling you anything.

Modern science doesn't see any proof that dreams predict the future. The are stored memories of the activities of the previous few days, especially worries.
No doubt you're concerned about your husbands fidelity!
