taken out of the equation, removed from your consciousness, who would you blame/credit for the things you percieve these two are in charge of? In other words, these two characters are used as a templet for your judging of many things. They both are blamed and credited for many things. What if they were not available to use as a templet? Who would you blame, or give credit to, or judge others by?
This is not meant to be offensive. It is just real obvious that there is a huge blame/credit issue among Christians regarding themselves and others.

Raji, as usual you reveal the truth of us 'others'. Thank you.

Well, even though this question is purely hypothetical in nature for me, my guess is that I'd be blaming any visible entity, and not even necessarily would it have to be animate, that may be the ultimate cause for good and blame for bad (of course, this includes myself). Whew! Just the thought of this being the reality makes me so thrilled to know that it is not! Why? Because if it were, there would be no reference point to attribute ultimate credit or blame beyond what I see, leaving me to never forgive anyone, including myself for the bad (and this is what inevitably leads to wars, homicide and suicide), and to worship others, things or narcissism (self-worship) for what good I see. Either someone else would be my god, or possibly even myself (Either way, I don't believe that I'd be a free human agent, because I would be responding in a way that's dependent on the circumstances at any particular moment.) Only the here and now visible would be my only guide in life. It is because I attribute both good and bad ultimately to invisible powers: God Himself, His realm, His spirit messengers (angels), Satan, strongholds, and spiritual forces of darkness (demons), that I can love and appreciate appropriately, knowing that any goodness that I see in myself or in others ultimately comes from Above, not us; and forgive by recognizing that my enemies are really and truly victims of the ultimate cause of the bad.
Now, it appears to me that your last two sentences qualify as the reason for your question. If I understand what you are observing; is this immature behavior in Christians due to their incorrectly chosen attributions of their understanding of what are the causes in practical everyday living? What I mean by this is about Christians: 1) not giving credit where it is deserved among those they interact with, but rather bypass unappreciably those they really shouldn't, and only give credit to God and/or His angels? 2) And/or do they in a conceited fashion take credit for something for whom they really should be crediting another and/or God and His angels? 3) And/or, do they tend to either "demonize" others by casting blame solely on those who contend with them, and/or who are just in opposition philosophically with them, and not ultimately on where it belongs, on the spiritual enemies of darkness? 4) And/or do they "spiritualize" blame "(i.e., "It was that mean ol' devil that ruined everything!") by falsely attributing their own failure to take responsibility where it is due?
If any of these aforementioned are so, then I would say that it really isn't the blame/credit issue of attributing cause to invisible, spiritual powers that is the problem here, but rather I believe it's a Christians' misattributions of these causes, both influentual and efficient, both visible and invisible, in an immature manner in any circumstances of life that you are observing.
Lastly, may I just end by saying I'm really sorry if you have been a victim of, or have observed in horror, their immaturity! I've done this to so many people in my life, and should've known better most of the time. Thank God that He has shown, and is continuing to show me my errant manner! Conversely, I've also been both a bystander in horror of this kind of behavior too, and the "target" of blame by some other Christians. And, when this occurs, I believe us Christians appear to be no different from many who are not; and even worse yet, quite different from those who do not believe but in contrast to them who do show love and understanding.

Moon, I take FULL responsibility for my own actions and never seek to blame or credit anyone else for whatever it is that I do, for good or ill. I don't believe in the Christian concept of God nor do I believe in the Judeo-Christian-Islamic idea of Satan. My actions are based on my OWN free will and therefore any results of those actions MUST occur because of MY choices.
Brightest Blessings,

Hmmmmm... I suppose there's always Murphy and the Illuminati..........
But good things? Do they happen often enough to justify a nonhuman personal Cause? Mostly goodness happens because of good people following the tenets of a religious system that assumes a King of Goodness. What would a world look like WITHOUT such an assumption?????

I guess we could only praise/blame ourselves.
Jer. 17:5 - Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
I'd rather trust in the Lord than to rely entirely on myself. He has a deeper perspective and can see "the big picture". I'll leave my life in His hands.

I can understand the reasoning behind your asking, however, this question is one of those that are impossible to answer........... there is NO way of knowing how I would act or react to any given situation ....... My faith is so strong I can NOT imagine being without my Lord.... so there for, satan is as real to me as God is...... I know no other way to answer you but with the truth I know in this life........ God bless

I would say that "Evolution made me do it" I must not have completely evolved to do something stupid like that.
Or I would accuse someone else of still acting like an ape.
