I never rushed home to watch tv,the streets were much safer so as kids we had a lot more freedom, i remember being out playing with my friends all the time,tv was for adults,it's so sad how times change and kids today are stuck in front of tv's and computers.

I am afraid, I was very `hard-done-by` when I was a child, my parents did not own a television. They believed that children would not study/do their school homework, if there was a T.V. in the house. Consequently, they did not buy one until after I had finished A- level`s G.C.E. I was sadly lacking in T.V.program knowledge until I was about 18 years old.!

Batman the animated series.
that cartoon set a new standard for children's cartoons, and animation in general.
i was only seven when the show first aired, but thatis when i realized what good writing was. i used to be a big fan of TMNT, but after watching BtAS, i realized how repetitive the plot was.
