Stupidity, lunacy and superstition [as defined by almost everyone on R S]comprise my entire spiritual belief system.

Every time I've mentioned any portion here there's been universal ridicule.

I don't mind, and I don't say much about what I know to be true.

But what I do say concerning atheists, Christianity and other doctrinal faiths is sometimes a mirror of that scorn. My own flaw, not yours.

But because it's an admitted flaw of mine, what's in it for YOU to become angry about?

you seem rather intelligent, and as an intelligent one would understand; a person alone is smart, but people on the other hand are not, they are chaotically stupid. but, what you have written is nicely put, thank you for the question.

jack - i am intrigued!! you are either wise and cool or playing the martyr...fink i'll go check out some of yer answers!!!

i have a background in philosophy of science, epistemology and linguistics - i was the most truly 'rational' person i knew...then i had a coupla omg enlightening experiences and realised i knew NOTHING!!!!! well, very little anyway. the thing about intuited truths is you can't, or very rarely can, teach them to anyone who isn't already on the same page as you are! so i tend not to share much unless it's clear from a question that the person may be open to some more 'left-field' knowledge. don't be put off though - bet i believe weirder stuff than you do!
=P

jeesh jack - you're all 'privated up'!!! and with a points total like that you must have written BOOKS here!!! shame - woulda liked to have checked you out

The reflection you see tells all.

James 1:23-25 (King James Version)

23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

You are either doing something totally right or totally wrong, that's the only way to achieve universal condemnation.
Keep up the good work, I'll check your profile and get back to you with an opinion.

Jack P you may not realize it, but you give the undecided, the unsure, the weak a voice. We each live according to our reality. When you share that fact you are touching many lives. You are a necessary gift to the people. The gift of freedom.

Atheism isn't a faith. I only get angry when I get reported ( which seems like everyday lately ). I know what the truth is too ( to me anyway ). Hmmm does this answer your question?

Squirt has hit it Jack,no one likes to be bested on what they feel is solid ground beneath their feet. You are an earthquake that shakes up belief systems as if they were wooden shacks. Please do what you do best, question everything.

I am not familiar with your beliefs. But survival of mankind and cooperation and healing is in it for me if I can sway those who profess in some eternal damnation as truth, to Forgive Affirmed Spirit!

Healing be unto you and yours and me and mine

Very few of us actually open ourselves to public criticism.
Many are eager to jump at the opportunity to attack.
