Jesus had the nicely suited message, how ever, the situation is whilst human beings regularly do no longer hear to easily Jesus, and take the completed situation in ideas, previous, and New testomony. The previous is crammed with alot of violence. Too a lot of human beings do no longer stick to his be conscious, and do many stuff he pronounced to no longer do. They decide, they kill in his call. on an identical time as Jesus grow to be no longer a violent guy, the e book as a common entire has a tendency to be that way. A quote that has been thrown at me, countless cases by ability of folk asserting they have been christian, is "Thou shalt no longer go through a witch to stay". for sure that is going against his teachings, being that he did no longer choose human beings to decide one yet another. Judging is to be left as much as God, and is not any longer meant for guy. I very plenty understand what I actual have examine, i grow to be Catholic for the 1st 12 years of my existence. i understand, and understand what it says. yet *many* human beings do no longer take his be conscious heavily and pay extra interest to something of the e book.

I agree, I remember when I was told the story with additions like the cat o nine being filled with glass & metal and to picture in your head that with every lash his skin was torn from his body, I had nightmares for years, and even though we have TV, there is nothing more scary than our imaginations when we are kids, so yes, it is not something I will share with my son, if he asks because he is told by some kid at school, I will give him the G version.

I don't think you need to go into that much detail when telling the story of Jesus to small kids.

Why too violent? Don't you have cable and video games? They are far more violent than the beautiful story of salvation.

Why not? The average cartoon is just as bad... I don't think you need to go into graphic detail with a 3 year old anyway.
