If bible is true word of God, why are men abusing it against women?

They use this excuse to abuse, torment, murder and rape women. The most common example is "Women be submissive to your husbands"

A LOT of men took that as "Ok then that gives me the right to treat my wife as a slave, beat her when she disobeys and rape her when she refuses to have sex with me"

Even Pastors descriminate against women. They say that women should NOT speak in church, they should be seen not heard. That they cannot speak to the pastor for advice but go to another woman. That women are nothing but objects that bring men down to temptation and that they can't control themselves so that means: They cannot be alone with another man, if in a meeting with a pastor even with the husband or another guy, she must bring another woman.

Is this what God intended? For women to feel guilty about their own gender, to take full responsibility of men not being able to control themselves?

To be expected to be treated as dirt and if a woman refuses to be treated this way she should be corrected?

It happens in society every day!

I think the bottom line is that men are sinners. I think all things God created are for good. Satan finds a way to use it for evil though. For example, sex is created for good. Sex outside of how God intended it to be causes hurt feelings among other things.

Satan uses Bible verses out of context too, like in Matthew 4:6 he had the nerve to tempt Jesus with using the Bible.

It's interesting how people can find Bible verses for other people and don't see the ones that are talking to them. Matthew 7:3 "Why do you see the speck in your brother's eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?

It's good to look at the whole passage:
Colossians 3:17-19 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (18) Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. (19) Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.

If women are treated harshly and told to submit, they might quote the rest of the passage to help keep him in check.

As far as not being alone with a pastor, I can kind of see the reasoning. I have helped out in Christian youth camps and stuff and I was advised not to be alone with a girl. The reason given was that if they accused me of something, it's my word against hers.

I haven't heard pastors say that, "women are nothing but objects that bring men down to temptation". If yours does, maybe it's time to find a different church, because I don't see that in my Bible.

I am a Pastor for 30 years and I will answer your question about not being alone with a woman.

Pastors have been arrested and accused of misconduct by women who "needed to talk to the Pastor alone" for what ever reason either she did not like the answer she got, or she had a thing for the Pastor.

I always make sure that my wife is with me if a woman asks for a meeting,
if done the right way the Pastor and his wife is a ministry team,
the wife of a Pastor (if she is part of the team) is there for the women and children to feel comfortable and for the protection of her husband.
but everyone knows and understands that my door is open 24 hours a day, but if you are a woman or a child they are told up front that my wife (Asawa), "Sister Cathy" will be in the meeting also.

A Christian never places themselves in a place of temptation or allows themselves to be placed where temptation (or lies) might occure.

As for the rest of your statements, a Christian woman and Christian man, knows and understands that each has a place and job, in the orginization set up of God.

Angels have their jobs, women have theirs and men have theirs.

Again, stop generalizing things so much. Not every pastor nor every Christian thinks that way. The Bible has also been used to justify slavery, and the Crusades. Taken out of context many passages are "loaded". That's why we read the Bible, not just quote it. No Christian I come in contact with believes women are less than men. References in the Bible to women being "submissive" were specific letter to churches where in at least one case, town prostitutes were attempting to "advertise" their business interests in worship services. Most women of the day were also not educated, not many women were capable of deciding on church affairs or affairs at home beyond child raising because of this. Clearly, that is not the case now.

The ideal answer should be NO. Homosexuality is not ok. The Bible says that it is an abomination. The reason why is said the ideal answer should be no is because people live how they want to live and they think that it is ok. For instance, can one believe that premarital sex is ok and also believe that the Bible is inerrant? Can one believe that holding grudges, gossiping, lying, backbiting, being in sexual sin, and all works of the flesh are ok, but still believe the Bible is inerrant? The answer is that they either don't believe that the Bible is inerrant, or that they really don't care. Truth be told.

The whole point of Moses, et. al., creating a monotheistic faith was to disenfranchise women. Many early religions had a goddess and a god sharing power in a way that exemplified women's role in civilization. Monotheistic faiths are invariably paternalistic and downplay the value and rights of women. The social force which contributed most to the rapid rise of the Abrahamic faiths was the near universal misogyny of our ancient male ancestors. The unspoken subtext throughout the Bible is one of unrepentant paternalism -- dehumanizing women and reducing them to mere chattel property.

Although I am male, I have often wondered why more women didn't revolt against the obvious sexual bigotry of Christianity. Personally, if I were a woman I wouldn't go anywhere near Judaism, Christianity, or Islam -- religions that exist for the primary purpose of the subjugating women. I'd love to see the rise of a modern woman's faith that counter-balanced the sexist tyranny of Christianity. A popular woman's faith is the only solution I can imagine, short of eliminating paternalistic faiths altogether, that could result in a stable foundation for future human civilization.

Check mate.
But a case for women, where are the women contributors in the bible?
Women are only in it to put shame and blame on our sex.
I personally don't buy that a man sat through history and never saw a religious woman. Bull puckey.
I work in a nursing home and the nurses (hospice included) are angels on earth. No one could be treated like we are and still show up to work everyday and not be put here by God Himself. And very rarely do I work with a male that is not in management in charge of greed and profit.

Your question is so loaded I wouldn't sneeze near it or you might blow up.

People will use any excuse to justify their own actions to themselves.

The Bible in no way condones mistreatment of women, in fact, just the opposite. It says to honor them as the weaker vessel...meaning, in context, not that they "lesser", but to treat them like fine china, as compared to men as a paper plate.

Maybe you should try a church where the Bible is believed instead of used.

If the bible is total truth, then you should kill me. Jesus clearly says to slay all those that do not wish him to be king in Luke 19:27. I do not wish him to be king. However, if you do kill me, you will have broken the 6th commandment. There is no way out of this paradox. Therefore the only logical conclusion is that the bible is not all true. So what does this all mean? Use the bible to learn, but don't believe that it is all true.

Women have roles from God, as men do. Men are different than women. Women aren't allowed to teach men according to the Bible. If you don't like it, too bad. It doesn't make men higher in God's eyes, it's just an order.
