If it were truly finances that should dictate how many children one should have then the Bill Gates of the world would have dozens. One's finances should never be a deciding factor in how many children to have. If God is your God, He will provide for you and your children no matter the number. You can let the world cheat you out of God's blessings because you say you can't afford to have children, but God's will is to let Him decide your family size, not society, not your finances, not the government, not Planned Parenthood, but God Himself.

13 children in todays society is a handful. Your question is like saying. "I want a 2008 Escalade, so if I make the first payment can I rely on God to make the rest, even if I bring $220, per week?" NOT gonna happen...
Your an adult and your responsibility is to behave responsibly. If you can't afford it, you don't have 13 kids. Point blank.
(My grandmother had 12 kids. It was a different era. Her husband was a captain on a ship and didn't have to call on anyone for help. Myself and my siblings have between 2 and 3 kids each. One of my uncles has 13 and HAS to rely on handouts from their church to support the family. I think it's wrong to be honest. So my perspective comes from my OWN family.)

Look at the millions of children who are starving, suffering and living under poor condition with no opportunity to as much as learn how to read. Does it look like God is into supporting people for this?

Good for the Koran to say not to kill our children, how thoughtful of them. (I really doubt it means not give them birth)

And who is "we"... ? It doesn't even say God will take care of them.

Their is a lady in my church who has 11 children and they make it just fine. She has a garden for veggies, a cow for milk, chicken for eggs and they have cows and pigs for meat. I'm going to have as many children as God will allow and faith that he will provide. God bless

Also I might add, a christian doesnt go on welfare and have others support them as I just read in a previous answer. We depend on God for that.

Yes!
It may be a struggle, but God will provide for those who follow Him. My wife's grandmother had 17 children. They were not well off, but they managed to cope somehow, and they all grew up to be healthy adults, living long lives and having many children of their own. So it all depends on your priorities. You can either have few or no children and a life full of luxuries and the latest gismos, but will you have happiness? Or you can put God and the most precious gift of children first.
