I just turned 22 yesterday and when I changed in to some basketball shorts, I noticed how much worse my legs have gotten. It looks so horrible. I don't like showing my legs as it is, and now that this is happening, i most definitely don't. So I ask, if there is anything in this world that can get rid of them. I mean, aren't I too young to start getting them?

When I turned 28 I already had been in pain, embarrassed, and scared of becoming pregnant. I didn't want my big blue varicose veins to get worse. The All Natural Varicose & Spider Vein Solution program was an easy read and easy to do. Within 21 days there was a big difference in how my legs looked and I can wear shorts without feeling embarrassed. I feel so much better with more energy and for giving me back a healthier body, and the legs that a 28 year old should have.

Idiopathic telangiectasias are fine, dilated intracutaneous veins that are not clinically significant but may be extensive and unsightly.
Telangiectasias can usually be eliminated by intracapillary injections of 0.3% solution of sodium tetradecyl sulfate through a fine-bore needle. Hypertonic saline 23.4% is sometimes used but causes fairly severe, temporary, localized pain; therefore, large areas of spider veins may require several treatments. Pigmentation may develop but usually subsides, often completely. Skin ulceration may result if the injection is extravascular or too large. Laser treatment is effective, but large areas require several treatments. Small telangiectasias may persist or recur after initial treatment.
Please see the web pages for more details and images on Spider veins (Telangiectasia).

unfortunately you're not too young its usually a hereditary thing
you can help prevent them by not crossing your legs at the knee
dont stand in one spot for too long
you can cover your spider veins with waterproof makeup or getting the surgery in which the spider veins are injected with saline ( expensive , not covered my insurance and the spider veins will appear in other areas)

I had laser treatment on mine. They have not reappeared, I guess it would depend on how severe they are. The only thing, the laser treatment hurt so bad it brought tears to my eyes. If you try this method ask for numbing cream prior to treatment.

THERE IS HOPE!! TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR AND TELL HIM OR HER HOW MUCH THIS BOTHERS YOU. TELL HIM YOU FEEL HORRIBLE AND SOMETIMES DEPRESSED ABOUT THIS EMBARRASSING SITUATION. ASK HER TO REFER YOU TO A DERMATOLOGIST AND THEY WILL HELP YOU THERE. IF ITS REALLY BAD INSURANCE WILL COVER FOR IT, BUT IF NOT YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT YOURSELF. SO START SAVING AND TALK TO YOUR MOM OR DAD SO THEY CAN HELP. GOOD LUCK!
