It is a quote by Mother Teresa- about abortion.

Didn't Mother Teresa say that? I think it's a very sad, yet true statement of the world we live in. Abortions happen mainly because people don't want to make any sacrifices in their lives. They kill their own child because of selfishness. Children are starving around the world because of corrupt governments and lack of concern. Even when supplies are sent to help, they often don't make it to those who need it the most.

God Bless.

Why should a child be sacrificed that you may live as you wish??? Why not YOU sacrifice your self (ie your selfish ways) so the CHILD may live?

The old man said that the parent would be poor for 20 years when you have one own child. It is the same meaning on your question, but noone is poor all his own life as the old man said so I conclude that the quote is liar. right.

It's a "poverty"? Who made up that saying? Who is that child and who is "you"? What is the scenario where that child must die?

I would not want to be friends with the person who made-up that thought.

Sounds like it was said by some self-inflated evangelical republican who wants to put his ethics into my uterus.
