If you are not able to view the photos through your device (e.g. camera or phone) then that could mean the following:

1) There are no photos on the card
2) The card is possibly damaged
3) The photos are corrupted on the card

Insert the card into the device and connect the device to a pc or laptop (remember to install any software that is required with the device before connecting it to the pc).

Using the software try and retrieve (copy) the images from the device. If this fails, you can try a photo kiosk (has a multi-card reader) in your local Boots store which will help confirm if it is the card that is faulty or not.

Good Luck!

If you are using the cable supplied with the camera, try getting/buying/borrowing a memeory card reader.

They only cost about £5 and you should then be able to drag all the files from the card onto a computer.

There are a number of free software programs that are designed to recover photographs from memory cards.

See: http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/system...

I would try
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/spfilerecov...
first, if that doesn't work I'd try:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/zaimagereco...

These are Windows programs; I assume that there are
similar programs for Apple computers.
