I have had a sharp pain in the center of my stomach, and it has gone on for like three weeks now, off and on. It happens especially before and after I eat, but it will not go away quickly, I have to lay down or sit. Also, my gallbladder is out, but when I get that sharp center pain it radiates to my lower shoulder blade and my lower back hurts sometimes too. Please advise, my doctor gave me these new acid pills called Zuregis or something like that but they do not seem to be helping.I am getting tired of having this pain and not be able to do anything to help it.I have also felt nausea too. Please suggest or advice. Thank You!
Note--I am 23 years old and have had my gallbladder removed this same year.

Well I would recommend going to a doctor. Just to be on the safe side. But, I know the pain you are having and I am 33. I have had it looked at by a few doctors just to be on the safe side and believe it or not it was just indigestion and/or possible an ulcer. An ulcer would make sense because you experience these pains right before and after you eat. Before you eat your stomach prepares to eat, in fact just the smell of food will get your stomach to start producing acid especially if you are hungry. It is that acid that will burn your ulcer and cause you the pain you are experiencing. Now I am not saying an ulcer is definitely what you have but, it is probable. There are other things that can cause your stomach problems but, I wouldn't think they would be serious considering your age. But, if an ulcer gets out of hand which they can if they go untreated this could lead to a dangerous situation where the ulcer can weaken the lining of the stomach so much that it will actually tear the stomach open . This can lead to you either bleeding internally to death or lead to a very serious infection that can be life threatening. My advice is to go and see a doctor just to be on the safe side. My likely it is just an ulcer or other minor stomach ailment. But, better to be safe than sorry. Ok, I hope this helps and take care.

that pain is usually still because of the recent surgery u have... and the back pains u get? well thats what we call "referred pain". it happens when u have a certain pain in one side and u can also feel it in another area... its mostly psychological so i dnt think u should worry too much on the shoulder pains... for ur back pains it may be the effects of the surgery too because u may lie down at a certain position a lot.. try different positions... take those pills ur doctor gave u cuz those will help.. i hope this helped a lot... :)

Go to your doctor as soon as you can. This sounds serious. You shouldn't have pain anywhere. Pain is a signal to have it looked after.
