I'm the MOH in my sisters wedding. We had planned on going to see Drag Queens on Friday, but something came up and now we have to cancel. What other things can we do for both the bride and groom on such short notice??

We had to cancel because the Drag Show was over 2 hours away and there were no hotels anywhere in the area... And I wouldn't want a combined party either, but that is what THEY want, so that is what they are going to get!

Have a Jack and Jill party.
Invite the guys and the girls and either go out to local bars or have a shin dig at your place.
This is what i am doing this Saturday!
You could make it a theme party, Black and white tie affair, Famous Couples, Luau...... Really whatever you want.
It is very fun, and easy to do on a short notice.

I've only been to one combined bachelor/bachelorette party. We rented a school bus, attended a baseball game, did a huge tailgate party, and after the game went bar hopping including a stop at a strip club with both female and male strippers.

the idea that came to mind was

BAD idea.

this should be a time where the two are appart. The whole idea of a party is to live it up on your last day being single. The boys go with the boys and the girls go with the girls. It don't matter where just away from each other. Any night club lets the bride in free and usually her girls too even if you don't have reservations.

Mini golf, go carts, local arcade. I olnow these are kiddie places, but my husband and I always have a good time playing games we used to play when we were younger. How about Chuck E Cheese? Just anything for entertainment will do. Then you can go to a bar later.
