No I don't. I never did. My grandparents used to have a milk cow. I hated drinking that milk. No matter how many times she would strain it there was still thick cream in it. I couldn't stand it. I don't drink much milk at all now.

Hello:

Yes,I have had fresh or raw milk before as it is called and it is actually pretty good! I can tell you this though I am really considering buying a cow for fresh milk because the pasteurized stuff in our local grocery stores is over $5.00 a gallon,I am not kidding!

It's called "raw milk" and it hasn't been pasteurized or homogenized. It does have a different flavor, which stems form the fact that there's so much fat in it, and of course you want to use it while it's still warm. Personally, I don't care for warm milk. I never gave it to my children because raw milk can develop enough bacteria to cause illness in an amazingly short time. Kids have enough threats to their health without daddy being stupid and feeding 'em raw milk...

Yes I do - I grew up on a farm and we had 40 milk cows, it was hard to adjust to the milk for a grocery store.

Yes, I do like 'raw' milk....to bad we can not buy it here...I have been looking for someone who would be willing to 'donate' me some so I can make 'fresh butter and cheese'...I say donate because they can not legally sell it to the public...

Never tried it, I imagine it would taste a lot better than the pasteurized stuff we buy.
