When I was young my mother had this saying, "You don't have to do anything but pay taxes and die." The inevitability of these two things was a given in my family.

I don't believe this anymore. With my income as it is, I no longer have to pay taxes. Because I eat His body and drink His blood, I no longer have to die. I will live forever. God, in His grace, has lifted me from my childhood destiny.

Do you believe in death and taxes?

Yours in Christ Jesus, Grace

I don't have a minor child and I don't get any subsidized housing or any other government relief.

I don't think so. God is the reason we live and our only job really is to praise and please Him. He will care for our needs no matter what, and we will live forever if we believe, unless we don't and fall into abyss

The only way not to pay taxes (and even then you still have to pay some) is to break the law or earn almost nothing.

As for not dying, we lack the technology to prevent death fully at the moment and there is probably no afterlife either. I suspect we'll develop technology to allow us to have much increased life spans at least in the thousands of years but whether we can live forever is another matter entirely.

Cannibalism isn't going to allow you to live forever either so don't bother eat his body or drinking his blood (rather disgusting really).

You will be in for a rude awakening some day.... Man enforces the tax laws, and life enforces death.

Only 2 things in life that will happen for sure.

I'm sorry, but physical death is a part of life, as are taxes if your income improves (and I hope it will).

Nope, just have a kid and get section 8. You'll never have to move from your couch.
