i have been taking Ibruofen tablets but its not working, wot else could i try tohelp my ears im waking up crying with pain

The eustachian tube which runs through the ear, also runs through your throat. When that tube becomes inflamed, it can cause you to have a sore throat.

To help you sleep tonight, you can try two things:
1. use a blow dryer on low heat and blow dry your ear (low heat so you do not burn yourself!). The heat will temporarily dry some of the fluid in your ear providing pain relief.
2. use a heating pad or warm compress on your ear. DO NOT go to sleep with a heating pad!

If you do not end up in the ER tonight for pain relief, call your doctor first thing tomorrow and make an appointment. An earache of such long duration, which is also causing throat pain, needs medical intervention. It is not going to resolve on its own. Please see your doctor before you end up with a perforated eardrum or permanent hearing loss.
