Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A):
A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local government) commits a federal felony when she or he:
* assists an alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or

exciting question. i think of an excellent sort of the scientific advances might have come from Europe besides because of the fact an excellent sort of the U. S. are descended from eu colonists. according to risk the techniques does not have got here approximately as immediately however because of the fact Europe grew to become into economically crippled after the 1st worldwide conflict. united statesa.'s intervention interior the wars and its advocacy for self determination a great deal helped velocity up the efforts to shield peace in Europe. although different than that i don't think of the worldwide could be in a lots worse state than that's on the 2nd. Human rights circulate might have went on regardless and large Britain especially grew to become right into a huge hotspot for Asian and African immigration. in reality the united kingdom is a much extra multicultural society on the instant than the U. S..

Mary W already gave a very solid response. My response is to clear up any confusion about what the question was.
The question as asked, does not deal in any way with indigenous residents. There were no real immigration laws in the books back then. Much (although not all) land was sold to the then government. If you think they got a poor deal, that was what they bargained for. History will show that they were not exactly shrewd businessmen.
You can go back to playing your video game now.

Yes it is a crime. You are aiding in the commition of a Federal crime. And if you are here on a green card, my understanding is that if you break the law, you will immediately void the green card and be deported. Furthermore, you will be put on a list and not allowed back into this nation at all.
So the choice is completely yours. Lose what you have done LEGALLY for another's selfish act, or follow the law and respect what you have. In my mind, there is no choice here.

Yes, definitely it is a crime. Aiding and abetting. Yes, the green card holder hiding an illegal criminal alien can be imprisoned and deported.

Yes it's a crime but to get our limp= inept Gov to enforce it is the question. Vote all the 1s that voted or supported the Shamnesty bill out of office.

Can they, yes, do they no, just look to the case in New Jersey where a illegal alien was being held multiple times in the criminal justice net, but yet was never deported, and in a way you can say he was being harbored by the system
