right, so every one knows, I'm a satanist!

to be perfectly honest i don't much care what Christians (or anyone else) thinks about my choices in life. If they want to be bigoted idiots then that is fine by me, personally i find it rather amusing to have a good debate with them on who has the evil religion. having read the bible i can pretty much not so much as poke holes in a Christians argument, but more break it into rubble with a recking ball. Anyway, not all Christians are like that, some of my best friends are roman catholic, church of england etc. it tends to be only the real hard liners that are like that, and they are just funny to watch as they drown in their own ignorance. like some one else said, most cant be bothered finding out what being a satanist is about, they assume its all black mass's and virgin sacrifice. now although that sounds like it might be fun, i would like to point out that its just not true

I don't see why. "Christians" as such aren't supposed to be tolerant of any other religious tradition, because they've got it "right," so everybody else must be "wrong" by default. Besides, Satanism is really just a reaction against Christianity, even though certain brands of Satanism have been tricked out with pagan bells and whistles in an attempt to identify them with pre-Christian traditions.

Christians often forget that we are called to love all peoples of all walks of life. Christ himself showed love to both Jew and Gentile. However Christ also stuck to his guns and did not promote or accept beliefs that do not glorify God. So that answer is Christians should treat satanists with love and respect but make sure to clarify your emotions are toward the person and that worship of Satan is wrong.

We are complete opposites..though of course Christians should show love to everyone regardless of religion because Jesus commanded us to.
But come on, Anton LeVay was clearly trying to provoke Christians: calling that satanic handbook a 'bible', re-writing the 10 commandments?
But you know what? he'll have to answer to God for that and explain why he defiled God's Word.
God bless

I'm kind of torn on this one. On one hand, watching Christians flip out over whiny teenagers in Slayer t-shirts and nail polish is fantastic entertainment. On the other, extreme cases of fundamentalist bigotry end up with spooky kids either getting beat into goo or shooting up their schools and making everybody's life a little more tightly regulated.

Final answer: no. I like Christians displaying their ignorance and spite, it makes them easier to fight.

Christians should show more tolerance toward EVERYONE. Satanists not withstanding.

No
Luke 11:23 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

Anyone worshipping anyone or anything other than God through the person of His Son Jesus is against Him. Why should I show "tolerance" of those who are against my Lord and Savior?

Here's the thing-

Christians created Satanists, because it was through Christianity that Satan, and the entire concept of absolute evil and hell, was born.

Honestly, if you look at it, they are very much related. Both believe in a supreme being, both pay homage to this being that they themselves have never seen nor heard, both dedicate their lives to "spreading the word", and both sprang from the same fairy-tale.

Furthermore, it is my belief that most "Satanists" turn towards such a path because the Christian church has shoved intolorance and "you are a horrible filthy sinner" down their throats their entire lives, so why not?
