I was watching a video of songs with hidden messages and i read someone's comment saying Lucifer was the angel of music.

If this is true, can you please give me the bible verse?
Thank you very much. God bless

This is based on Ezekiel 28:13b: "The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created."

Verse 14a places Satan at the very throne of God prior to his fall from grace: “ You were the anointed cherub who covers."

When these verses are considered together, many people conclude that Satan was some sort of musical worship-leader in Heaven. However, Scripture doesn't explicitly state this; it only implies that he participated in musical worship.

Stop it. The biblical Lucifer isn t Satan or the Devil or an angel. He s a man. The King of Babylon. It s right in the text, but people want so badly to know things about El Diablo that they make other verses into stories about him instead of about the actual topic.

The music pastor at my church gave us a multi part lesson all about this subject, but honestly, I can't find hardly anything in the Bible about Lucifer, so I couldn't tell you. I have no idea where my notes are from that time either, or I'd look it up.

I am starting to wonder if all our common knowledge about him is coming from other sources. Paradise Lost was referenced in a movie I was watching recently and it seemed to be a possible source for info about Satan. I am not saying I don't believe in Satan, I definitely do, but as for his backstory, I can't find it.

The Bible says he was an angel of light...........
I don't see music in that verse. Lucifer was a brilliant (meaning beautiful) angel at one point......who tried to place himself above the Lord....

That's a no no

Primoa is right. There's no biblical support for Lucifer being an "angel of music."

A lot of times in some Christian videos and tracts you will see statements like that which are basically made up in order to support a point. I even read once that Harry Potter is evil because his eyes are green and green is Satan's favorite color. I'd like to see the chapter and verse for that one!

Lucifer was not an angel of music
But... Lucifer (son of morning star), before said to be a fallen angel, was used to be a great angel with amazing voice, bright face, tough and powerful

To say that Lucifer is Satan is an assumption. To say that there was a rebellion in heaven is an assumption which also leads to praying the same rebellion into the earth, when we say whatever is in heaven let it be also in the earth.
Satan, the devil was expelled from heaven and Adam had fallen. Because of his(Adam) fall the nations are weakened.(this is due to sin entering in through his act.)
Adams eating of the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was his desire to be like God. He was already like God having been created in His Image and Likeness.

The following portion of Scripture needs metaphorical interpretation not literal.

Isaiah 14:12-15, "How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth. You who have weakened the nations! 13 But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly in the recesses of the north. 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ 15 Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, to the recesses of the pit."
