okay so "hunter" is two but looks like a kitten, and then we have "chase" the huge 5 year old male. they are both bengals. so i always see "hunter" nursing with "chase" and doing things that look a bit wrong. did he get taken away from his mom too early and this is the closest he can get to mom?

Actually, I would say that's a little underdeveloped, but nothing too unusual. The fact he's still nursing is a little odd, but he may have been doing that with your other cat for a while. And if your male cat doesn't seem to mind it, then all is well. Sometimes these are common behaviors when you have two males and one is overly dominant and one is overly submissive.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;-)

There's no sex involved, it's a comfort thing. Cats like to cuddle, and if they have no litter mates they'll do it with other cats they like. It won't hurt any to nurse, the one was likely taken from the mom too soon.
