Well, about me, I recently moved out to Kentucky from San Diego. Im 18 about to start my last year in Highschool.This is my problem. Ive been a Christian about 2 years now. I used to be on fire for the Lord, and i truly felt like i was near God. and God was near me. I know that the Lord is leading me in the dirrection of Youth Pastoring, and or evangelizing. Well since i recently moved out, ive been falling away from the Lord, My parents dont attend church, so as you may have guessed its been about 2 months since ive gone to church. Ive tried to do my own things like listen to sermons online from my church in San Diego, have my own bible studies. and talk with some of my christian friends. However during the day, im home almost all day, and theres not a whole lot to do, so im on the computer most of the day, buying and selling on ebay for some spending money, however i randomly get urges to look at porno. and i have an extremely hard time fighting back. I know scripture, but what to do

Being 18 you have a problem. You are too young to marry and old enough to need the release marriage gives this problem.
The solution to the problem is not easy. Get rid of the magazines, put a lock on the computer's Internet access (if possible) so that such sites are off limit.
Do not associate with people who indulge in this filth. Go to church, read the Bible, Harry Potter, SF, etc, study math, and perhaps this may help. Go and play soccer or something that tires you out. (be sure to avoid books that are designed to provide people with virtual porno)
If your problem with the strong desire keeps bothering you until you are 23 and older, you should marry early. Better to marry as Paul says than to be inflamed with fire. (desire is thought of here, not hell)

I had a similar problem. You simply delete all of it off the computer, and say the battle is not mine the battle is the Lords. Satan wants nothing more than to make you try to fight him yourself, but you cant, but if you just dont put up with him and let the Lord do it then he will back down, cuz he cant fight God. He doesn't tempt you with ciggarettes, or alcohol, but things that you probably have had lust in your life in the past. Just say the battle is not mine it is the lords, in Jesus name I win!! And through faith God has allready taken the urge from you, and replaced it with an urge to look at Godly things.

I'm guessing you are very young and going through puberty and getting your first erections and having urges you've never felt before. Either that or you're an older pervert looking for a laugh. I will take a chance and say you are the former and not the later. What you are feeling and doing is normal for your age. It's not good, but it's normal. The consequences of porn addiction are seing women as two dimensional objects exclusively for the purpose of sexual pleassure and not the lovely women and creatures of God that they are. Masturbation and ejaculation are very addictive because sexual climax triggers the pleassure centers in the brain, and as you know that feels very good. Trouble is that when you see a girl yu are attracted to you don't just think " Gosh she's pretty.". You take it one step further and imagine her naked and the pleasure center in your brain is activated and think, "Wow she's hot! I need to have sex with her!". Unless you're a rapist or a guy who sleeps with women loosely you're not going to ty to get her to sleep with you. No you're going to grab a porn mag or hop on the NET when you get home and jerk off. If this gets worse you will become completely self absorbed when you grow up thinking only of yourself and your wants and needs and feeling good all the time. So now that I've painted a pretty awful picture of the science and spiritual reasons behind it you should be scared enough to never pound the pud again. But realx, masturbation is OK as long as it's done on a limited basis and If you aren't married and don't have a girlfriend. Remember what Jesus said. " You've heard it said 'Thou shall not commit adultery'. but I say to you if any of you one looks upon a woman in lust, you have commited adultery in your hearts already." In one word "prayer". Ask your Heavenly Father for help. Remember that he does truly forgive you, and that with the Holy Spirits help you can fight this impulse.
Also try to be conscious of the thoughts and events that are happening right before you get the urge to look at pornography.
With Gods help you can overcome this temptation. I will pray for you.

when i was young i attended church. when i turned 14 i walked away from it, when i was 19 i thought about it but never went back. i started to drink and all that jazz at 28 i started to think again about the church .at 31 i got baptised then i realy started to hate the church, at 32 Jesus told me that i must not go back to the church, but follow him. i did and for the last 15 years ive been following him and in that time i was about 10 times in the church 5 times for weddings and 5 times for funerals. i have my own ministery and it does not involve church or religion. just following Jesus gotohttp://frikkiebotes.homemarker.com/cgi-b...

ALWAYS PRAY! keep yourself busy even without the help of the computer to kill time..if you have nothing else to do to keep yourself busy, keep running and jumping around the house even while praying! or do some exercise..shake your head like you want to take everything bad out of your head..
always try not to be alone, invite your christian friends over your house. you can even tell them about your problem and they can help you by not letting you alone by yourself or by making you busy. every chance that you have successfully faught back, thank God for it. because when you ask help for God, expect that He will surely help you.
