no, never, report them and you can also take the option off your account so that people can no longer contact you.

Don't take the email option down--then you can't meet great new people or answer any questions for people. I see questions like that on here all the time "please marry me so I can be US citizen". Just whenever one of those people write you, reply back "sure but I work for the IRS" That tends to work.

Change your yahoo member directory profile to not allow emails or IM's. Thats where I got alot of unwanted soliciting from men.
