i think they all look great at sumpoint or from an angle.. even though like say the met life building is dominanting.. it stil looks great wen seeing it from park aveneue

who criticizes Manhattan's skyline anyway? Are you referring to residents who don't want giant towers built into their 5-story residential neighborhood? If so, read up on the reasons why and the how greedy real estate moguls use loopholes to build giant luxury condos in places that residents can never afford and thusly get pushed out.
And that in a nutshell is why some nyers dont like skyscrapers.....we like em, but only when they are in built in the right places and are made to be useful to all, not just those who call nyc their vacation home

NYC depends on skyscapers for economical reasons. So many corporations and companies do business in NYC they need office space. As far as architectual integrity, today's tall buildings lack the style as those build during the 1930s Art Deco period.

bc some people paid top dollar for their pad particu;arly for the views and then to have some construction company block ur views with their building and devalue ur property is not cool!
