The bible says the punishment for murder is death. So this means Jesus must kill the people who killed him. If he doesn't that means Jesus is not following the bible.

So when Jesus returns obviously he will spread the message, but do you think he will follow his bible laws or not?

I am not saying that. I am saying their are followers of the enemies of Jesus today. They reject Jesus then, so possibly they will reject him even in the flesh. So will Jesus just keep forgiving them forever?

The bible says the punishment for murder is death.

The actual Romans who crucified Jesus were not committing murder because they were part of the Roman government carrying out a sentence handed down by that government. It's just like the person who pulls the switch on the electric chair is not committing murder.

As to Jesus having to kill people, He is going to slay all of the sinners who have not trusted in Him for salvation when He returns, since murder is not the only sin that carries the death penalty.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

James 2:10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he has become guilty of all. 11 For He who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "You shall not murder." Now if you do not commit adultery, but yet you murder, then you have become a transgressor of the law.

Jesus isn't going to be spreading the gospel message when He returns. He came once as a suffering servant but He will return as a conquering King!

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having names written, and a name written that no one knows except Himself.

13 And He is clothed in a robe having been dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven were following Him on white horses, having been dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, so that with it He might strike the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the great supper of God, 18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who ride on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great."

19 And I saw the Beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, having been gathered together to make war against Him who rode on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the Beast was apprehended, and with him the False Prophet who had performed the signs before him, by which he had deceived those who received the mark of the Beast and those who worshipped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were slain with the sword which proceeds from the mouth of Him who rode on the horse. And all the birds gorged themselves with their flesh.

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and He who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled. And no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened the books. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged by the things having been written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to their works. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death, the Lake of Fire. 15 And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.

The crucifixion was foretold long before the event took place. It was an ordained and purposeful act to fulfill the prophecy of 'The Lamb of God' whereby Christ atoned for the sins of mankind, paying the spiritual debt of the world with his blood -- and subsequently causing the advent of the 'New Covenant' and it's promise of forgiveness and everlasting life for those who repent and believe in Him.

There was but one totally perfect person born of woman on this earth, and it was Yeshua of Nazareth, the Christ.

He walked in the ways of God because he is God. Indeed, one of the many names he is referred to is Emmanuel, which means 'God With Us'.

Finally, Christ is not returning as a meek lamb figure riding on a donkey in the fashion of the first Palm Sunday. He is returning to rule with a rod of iron for those who have been informed of the way yet follow another.

Yes, Christ will follow biblical law upon his return. However, as the betrayal by Judas, the denial of Peter, and ordeal of the crucifixion were all part of the divine plan, there will be no 'revenge' loosed upon those who were a part of it; for it was necessary and prescribed in the scriptures long before any of it happened.

You are leaving out 'forgiveness'. It's an essential part of the whole equation in Christianity.

You fail to see, Those who killed Jesus christ & all sinners will go to hell, Now you say will Jesus obey the bible, Listern The bible is about Jesus & not about Jesus have to kill people for killing him. When Christ hung there on the cross he said Father forgive them for they know not what they do. And when Jesus does return to this earth Rev. 19:11-14 It will be with his bride to rule & rign for 1000 yrs. & all wicked are bound in hell until the great white throne judgement day. So don't think that Jesus has to line up with scriptures AS YOU PHRASE IT, HE will Line up with scriptures 100% Remember The scriptures is about Jesus & not against Jesus.

Since all the people that were alive at the time of Jesus' death are dead (and it has been more than 10 generations since then) there is no one who is alive today to punish for this crime. This biblical law does not have any need to be enforced.

Good Luck!!!

you have to go back to original intent of the law back then. Murder was not as we would see it back then..

The law's of Moses were very different then the law's we have now. Remember the rules (law) about stoning a disobedient child..? We do not have that now.

The law back then was that Jesus in their eyes committed a crime and there for was suppose to be put to death. In there law they did nothing wrong.

Jesus also said turn the other cheak...

The punishment for sin is death. All sin, not just murder.
From the Christian point of view that means that without the forgiveness from Jesus all will die.
This forgiveness is able to be given because took the punishment for all sins (including murder) when he allowed himself to be killed.
I hope this answers your question.

Jesus said to forgive them for they do not know.

Jesus preached for non-violence.

And no where in the new testament, which Christians follow(Jews follow old testament), does it say to kill those who kill others. Read Matthew 5 where it talks about "an eye for an eye" Jesus says NOT to do that...
