they aren't worth the money and sound quality is horrible. my advice is to let me know what kind of radio you have and i can give you some better alternatives than fm modualtion. fm mods should be your last resort. alot of factory radios can be integrated into so that they play your ipod as if it were a cd changer and alot of aftermarket radios also have the capability to play the ipod

Digital sound is best if plugged in directly to a low level imput. Some car radios can be modified for 1/8" head phone jack. MY new Zune player and My 2006 GTO Blaupunkt radio will get a jack to play tunes directly into the head unit. modulators Cheep like I-Rock and expensive like I-Pod docking station that plugs into the cigar lighter. All suffer on sound quality. FM does not sound as good as CD's does it? Units with Cassette it is easy to import digital signal. Those cassette case's with signal cord.

I found the best thing since sliced bread...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01

It's not wireless so there's no chance for interference. Not to be confused with an FM transmitter. It basically adds an AUX port to ANY radio.

It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off.

This IS the answer. Totally versatile.

purchase an oem CD participant with an AUX enter interior the lower back. purchase a three.5 mm headphone jack to RCA converter. Plug the headphone jack into the iPod and plug the RCAs into the top unit. swap the top unit to "aux." they have some head gadgets with the RCA inputs interior the front, that would desire to be extra handy in case you do not care on the subject of the twine.
