As a general rule, men that have more more money are better looking and they are smarter and that is why they have more money. Stop seeking pretty girls that are out of your league and find a nice plump homely girl.

I don't know who but someone once said, "It's not having money that's important, it's the *lack* of it that's important." Some celebrity recently said, "I've been poor & miserable and I've been rich & miserable. Believe me, rich is better." That said, I don't believe that money makes people happy. It can solve all the problems that can be solved by money but that doesn't mean that you'll be happy. I'm 53 and have worked for the same organization for 29 years (plus two years at other jobs). I *hate*, **despise** and ***loath*** my job and the organization that I work for. I have a little less than 3 years to go until I'm fully-vested and able to retire. But in three years I probably won't be able to afford to retire, I'll probably have to work a few more years. If I didn't have to come to this awful job I believe that I would be about as close to "happy" as it's possible to be.

well Im happily married, but as for me, it wouldnt necessarily be the richness as the devotion to working..
we women want to make sure that a potential mate has the ability to hold down a good job and support us in the future.. So if he has a good nest egg, that is an indication that he has good finacial sense.. he can hold down a job, keep it, and save money..

Some people, men included, think that money is the gateway to fulfillment. If that is the case, why do people with money keeping buying stuff they neither need nor really want. Love is where it is at, but they are too blind to see it.

Same reason they go for the Buff guys, it's instinct, the strong survive and you want to be with someone who will survive, and can help you and your offspring survive. It sucks though because human nature has not yet adapted to the strength associated with intellectualism, cunning, and empathy. it's sad really that as advanced technologically, philosophically, and socially, most of our interpersonal relationships are governed by the same archaic instincts that motivated the caveman.

Some women are greedy, but most women just want to feel that her future husband is a good provider and that she will feel secure with him. If a person loves you they will be kind to you, and do nice things for you too, not always you doing for them.

I don't and never have. My dad was and is a very hardworking man, I have followed in his footsteps. He helped make me very independent. Don't flash your money, find a woman naturally, you can tell her later that you have money. Money should never be an issue in a relationship.
Good luck.

I don't think that women are after the money. I think that they are just thinking about their future. How do you know if the love is for real? I don't think that anyone would sacrifice their true happiness just for a thing like money.
