Amplitude: an amount that is more than required
So it is self explanatory. There needs to be more love than you think needed from BOTH sides, otherwise the relationship will FAIL.

it is right to some extent. according to me if u love someone it is how much u can give love .and if your amplitude of love is greater than the partner than also ur relation can continue truly.because if u love the one truly u will not expect much from him/her but will continue loving even if it is not sufficient from ur beloved .This is what is the true definition of love ...
