Medium. I like a little heat, but not so much that I can't taste anything anymore.

hot! if you don't go this way yer missin out, after all its what its all about, right. now if someone can,t handle a big steaming chip full of fire, they can just dab into it. but there's nothing worse than dipping in and coming up with some sweet clamy stuff. blah! and if your puttin it on food then you can put just the right amount to suit yer taste. texas says so! besides if you buy mild your just paying for the container. barbara's got that right! if you got a blender you can make stuff that blows store bought off the shelf!

Hot - a little hotter than the store-brand "hot". Some are now coming out with extra hot which is good, but usually I make my own using jalapenos - if I'm having company who doesn't like it quite as hot as me I have the milder available for them.

Mild, but they vary. Probably based on the peppers. Love the flavor of Jalapenos but not too much heat.

Hot. Extra hot if possible. My mom sends me a brand from my home town and their hottest is called Hazardous Burning Coals.

I'm from the Southwest... I like it hot!

those HOT salsas are never hot enough. If I do buy them, I'll add hot sauce or spice to them to make them hotter. So to answer your question, it would have to be hot, i suppose.
