Seriously... you do a patent search on mousetraps. Start pouring through the 1000's of patents over the centuries for mousetraps, and sooner or later you'll see *something* that you can do to improve on one of those. Then all you have to do is keep looking to see if someone else didn't already patented that improvement.

The best thing would be to search all of them, to date, and then decide on what improvement you could make.

No, didn't have to. I live in the South and we have always known very well that a cat is the very best mousetrap available on the planet. Nearly every person who has a feedstore....has a cat that lives there. Nearly every person who has a barn....has what is called a "barn cat". Simple stuff.... we consider them our very own border patrol for illegally immigrating mice, roaches, etc.

First of all it is a fallacy that mice go for cheese. Use bread and honey. Use a trap that doesn't harm the mouse, the mouse goes inside for the food and a little trap door comes down. I have been told that you need to let the mouse go quite a distance from your home as otherwise they will find their way back in. You should find these traps at your local hardware store.

First...

You start with lots melted cheese...

On top of tomato sauce, and thin crust...

Then you add pepperoni, black olives, and mushroo...

(Oh...you said "mousetrap...")

Sorry...I was building a better pizza...nevermind...

I don't know. Everytime I get an idea, somebody's already patented it.
