No where does the Bible say that having sex with a 3 year old is sin either. (NOT IN EXACT WORDS)
But common since dectates that it is.
To know the "Whole" Word of God, one must Read His Word and listen, Hear His Word and listen, Be led by His Holy Spirit to understand the "Whole", not just a verse or two taken out of context.
Unless one desires to be and is led and taught by the Holy Spirit, they will never UNDERSTAND.
They may know the words, but they don't understand "THE WORD-THE TRUTH".
Jesus said "I am the Way, the TRUTH and the Life"

I disagree with distinctive the answerers above, because of the fact of certainty some twist the words around (even state that it reads the alternative of what it fairly says). Genesis is a complicated artwork of artwork that makes use of distinctive symbolism, allegory, and play on words in the hebrew language or consistent with danger the kinfolk contributors tree is there for objective of the story. and distinctive that is interconnected, so Abel tale and the Cain tale retains distinctive the worries of the Eve and Adam tale and it retains by way of Lemech#a million who has a son named Tuval-Cain who kills a guy and is going to the 2nd Lemech, who has a son Noah who saves lives. each and every each and every so in lots of cases, whilst there is an enigma and something isn't defined, it fairly is by technique of the fact section is fairly now no longer the element of the story. So, shall we desire to constantly now no longer be taught between the two boys and ask whose sacrifice grew to alter right into a much better effective (that's what Cain does!!!) sacrifice. shall we desire to constantly see what God sees, and be taught Cain to Cain, for as God tells him that may not God be thrilled if Cain did stable? Cain knew this, he grew to alter into now no longer ignorant like Adam. And God reported do now no longer proceed to think of of that way, reason he will take a path the region an evil decision is obtainable (evil would not leap on human beings like some evil monster, devil, that all and sundry human beings is helpless against or that tricks them)(Eve wasn't tricked the two). and additionally see that Cain isn't sent to a pair evil hell, and Cain crys out for mercy, and inspite of the undeniable fact that Abel thrilled God, that would not shield him from the undesirable strikes of yet somebody else (everybody must be possibility free sufferers).

Genesis 4:5-7 KJV
(5) But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
(6) And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
(7) If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
What we know for fact was God was not pleased with the sacrifice Cain brought. God see the heart the Bible says in many places. God saw Cain was not giving for the right reasons. God honor what we give, if we give with the right heart attitude.

you did not read your bible, because in Heb. 11:4 it says "by faith Abel brought God a better and more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, because of which it was testified of him that he was righteous (that he was upright and in right standing with God), and God bore witness by accepting and acknowledging his gifts." So it's how you give (from the heart or the impress people).

It does, it says he didn't give the first fruits... I will find chp and verse, but I think it is later on in Lev when it talks about appropriate sacrifices... As well as Cain's heart was stirred and jealous of Abel... God told Cain Sin is crouching at your door.. Cain obviously gave in to sin.

The epistle of Jude talks about apostates, and verse 11 says, "Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah." The preceding verses describe what the sins were.
