I think I would freak out if I was in heaven. The cherubim has four wings and has eyes all over their wings, they also have four heads. The Seraphim has six wings, six eyes, and multiple heads, and they sit around all day saying "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory." So, would you be scared $hitless if you were in heaven? I would be like a bad acid trip.

Don't forget that apparently Jeruselem exists in heaven too in the form of a cube.
I'm not sure about you, but I wouldn't want to live in a cubic city.

Not only that but apparently the whole of existence there is one eternal grovel-fest at various levels beneath the G-man's throne....

Question: "What is Heaven like?"

Answer: Heaven is a real place described in the Bible. The word heaven is found 276 times in the New Testament alone. Scripture refers to three heavens. The Apostle Paul was “caught up to the third heaven", but he was prohibited from revealing what he experienced there (2 Corinthians 12:1-9).

If a third heaven exists, there must also be two other heavens. The first is most frequently referred to in the Old Testament as the "sky" or the "firmament," which appears as an arch that is spread over our earth. This is the heaven that contains clouds, that rain falls from, and that birds fly through. The second heaven is the interstellar space, which is the abode of supernatural angelic beings and celestial objects (Genesis 1:14-18).

The third heaven, whose location is unrevealed, is the abode of the Triune God. God's plan is to fill heaven with believers. No wonder the word heaven is interchangeable with eternal life! Jesus promised to prepare a place for true Christians in heaven (John 14:2). Heaven is also the destination of Old Testament saints who died trusting God's promise of the Redeemer (Ephesians 4:8). Whoever believes in Christ shall never perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

The Apostle John was privileged to see and report on the heavenly city (Revelation 21:10-27). John witnessed that heaven possesses the "glory of God" (Revelation 21:11). This is the Shekinah glory or the presence of God. Because heaven has no night and the Lord is the light, the sun and moon are no longer needed (Revelation 22:5).

The city is filled with the brilliance of costly stones and crystal clear jasper. Heaven has 12 gates (Revelation 21:12) and 12 foundations (Revelation 21:14). The paradise of the Garden of Eden is restored: the river of the water of life flows freely and the tree of life is available once again, yielding fruit monthly with leaves that "heal the nations" (Revelation 22:1-2) However eloquent John was in his description of heaven, the reality of heaven is beyond a finite man's imagination to describe (1 Corinthians 2:9). Yet it is more real than this earth, which will pass away.

Heaven is a place of "no mores." There will be no more tears, no more pain, and no more sorrow (Revelation 21:4). There will be no more separation because death will be conquered (Revelation 20:6). The best thing about heaven is the presence of our Lord and Savior. We will be face to face with the Lamb of God Who loved us and sacrificed Himself so that we can enjoy His presence for eternity.

Mmm...i wouldnt figure or take it as being scary...as Princess Cupcake said, it is a place of No Mores esp in relation to negative aspects of life. It IS somewhere i'm definitely looking forward to. Anyway, just a note, we're placed higher above the seraphims and cherubims and they all love God to no end and God loves us to no end...so i hope that that'd help you out a little bit.

Also, heaven ain't just a place for us to sit down doing nothing for all eternity. It is a place of glorifying the Lord, all how else to glorify Him but to do His works (Adam was made to work in the garden too) and praise His name and celebrate glory and life with the Creator, whose beauty, wisdom is boundless...meaning that He can create things that we can only imagine, and beyond, and have conversations and sharing sessions that would simply enrich us! Man...i cant wait. =p

it style of feels to me frightening is stressful to nail down and in case you probably did he could ***** approximately persecution. heavily, what's frightening to me is to no longer others. God judges the guts no longer the face and as some one has already published many frightening human beings would be in heaven. I bear in mind a pastor tale some lady that had a flat on a lonely street at night. She prayed for help and a brilliant burly biker rode up on his hog. She grew to become into terrified as he walked as much as her and raised his hand and pointed on the window motioning her to roll it down. She cracked it and he mentioned pardon me mam, yet am i able to help you? He grew to become right into a real Christian or perhaps although he knew what she might desire to be questioning he nonetheless helped her.

See if you can get ahold of a copy of Mark Twain's "Letters From the Earth".

One of the funniest comments on "Heaven" and G-d's relation with mankind ( and vice versa ) and every letter of every word rings true.

Warning: this ain't "Tom Sawyer" ! :-)

naturally it might be a big frightening at first, but like any new creature you get to know it and you get used to it. they aren't evil creatures and are probably very nice to be around. most people have a hard time fearing or disliking something/someone based on looks when they are kind.

Well, I'll tell God to give me a TV where I could watch all the episodes of " The Simpsons " and " The Family Guy ".

That would make me comfortable.

The idea of spending the rest of eternity in the same place is pretty damn scary. I mean, if we really do have eternal life and all that, then why would we spend most of it in the same place?
