Yeah I have that problem too. I dont recommend but here's what I do. Drink like 2 to 3 cold beers and I'm sure you will go to sleep pretty well like I do. Well, 3 bottle of beer just makes my body feel tired and if I lay down it's easier for me to knock out.

Take sleeping pills.

Maybe you're emotionally disturbed, and need counseling.
Is there anything on your mind? Have you been acting different from your usual self lately? If so, consult your doctor or a therapist.

your sleep cycle might be off by some hours, and it doesn't fix overnight but there is a cure.

1. alcohol
2. every night stay up 2 hours later than the night before, and wake up naturally if you can. do this until your bedtime is a normal bedtime

Have you tried sleeping pills?

These can be very helpful.. although Stress might be the cause of your imsomnia (inability to sleep)

Go to your GP (general practioner) or local doctor and ask about them - I think they are just the thing you need to help you.. good luck.. it's horrible being unable to sleep .x.

If you can’t fall asleep or stay asleep
Lying in bed awake can make you feel anxious and even less likely to fall asleep. If you can’t get to sleep within 15 or 20 minutes after you go to bed, or if you wake up in the night and can’t get back to sleep, get up and do something relaxing. It can help to
• Read something light or listen to soothing music in another room. To avoid over-stimulating yourself, keep the lights low.
• Drink a cup of warm milk. Research shows that milk contains an amino acid that may help you get to sleep. And the acts of heating the milk and drinking it slowly in a dim room can help you feel relaxed and sleepy.
• Write it down. If something stressful is keeping you awake, try unburdening your mind by writing it down. Some people find it helps to simply describe how they feel. Others find it helps to make a list of the things they’re worried about or that they need to do.
• Do deep-breathing or other relaxation exercises. Try inhaling as you count to five slowly, and exhaling as you reverse the count. Some people find it helpful to relax each part of their body in succession, starting with the right foot, right leg, right shoulder, right hand, and so on back down the left side.

A glass of warm milk an hour before bedtime often helps. Other natural remedies can be found in a web search for "natural sleep remedies".

i had the exact same problem, What i did, is i counted from 0 to 100 and then 100 to 0 over and over, it made my mind stop being "active" and i eventually fell asleep within 30 minutes. but if you keep awake, try incents or candles. they relax the mind. i use incents personally
