i lived in the greece for a few years & thought i was going to help u translate something, however what needs to be translated ? what do u mean wedding paper work ? do you mean visa's ? registry of the marriage ? the greeks can often be slow, so you may have the fastest person @ ur end but on the greek end its a guy/woman who cant be bothered, its hot & they have a stack of paperwork to get through that is in no order what so ever. eventually 20 different departments need to put there seal / stamp on the paperwork that may or may not be wrong in terms of correct spelling etc.

what wedding planner did u use ? if u go to a travel agent (going places for example) they will deal with all of that for u for a about £400. providing there is still enough time. some mariage paper work in greece is not even sorted untill a few days before the wedding.

Try the British consulate in Crete http://www.britishembassy.gov.uk/servlet/Front?pagename=OpenMarket/Xcelerate/ShowPage&c=Page&cid=1145892756436

I live in kos and have found the consulate here really helpful with this kind of thing. Good luck and have a great wedding day, Í hope you get it all sorted.
