Well I cut part of a butternut squash into small peices put them on a baking pan, then I drizzled a little olive oil on them, then sprinkled ground cracked pepper, cumin, and cinnamon on them and baked them, does that sound ok for a 1 am snack??

Nah. That's more of a 1:45 kind of snack. Now, if you'd added fewer spices maybe 1:15, but as is I'm gonna have to advise a firm 1:45 on that one.

Wow. Usually I think of a 1 am snack as something like the leftover cold pizza from the fridge. You're a real gourmet! That's a better 1 am snack than I could put together. Enjoy!

If you enjoy it, why not. Sounds really good and I might have to try it sometime. I have opened a can of young sweet peas with just a touch of pepper and butter as a snack. The leftovers were good the next day with dinner.
