Pride

As far as I know, there is no downfall. People don't want to put their faith into something and would just rather be given all of the evidence. It's easy to believe that science has all of the answers. It's a challenge to actually believe in God and Jesus Christ.

I guess a downfall is a lack a lot of knowledge about God - Their only strength is Lord Jesus and that outweighs the bad stuff.

heres a little story about my nan; she has always said her life was great before she decided to become christian, then one day an annoying man kept knocking on her door until she agreed to become christian. after this she never had a lie in on sundays, she couldn't do the things she loved like stealing, she had to follow a character out of a book and a load of other things became an inconvinience in her life. i dont know if this is what christianity is about but it doesnt sound much fun to me!

sounds terrible doesnt it!

all of the responses by christians on here just shows how big headed they are and that they all think they are perfect, this is why they get picked on!

sorry if i offended anyone and sorry for my rant!

I would rather talk about what the good things are:

A sense of community.
People coming together for a greater good.
Absolution of one's sins and wrong doings.

Ask yourself this, what is the downfall of judgement?
What is the downfall of focusing on negativity, pain and destruction?

If one knows that all their sins are forgiven, that they have been given the very righteousness of Christ, and will spend eternity with God; and have all the resources available to them to let Jesus live HIS life IN and thru them...wheres the down side?

Is the Christian life always "fun?" NO...we are promised suffering in this life. But it is nothing compared to the glory we will share with Him.

Not staying close to God. Once we get out of step with Him, we begin to follow from far off. Sometimes we begin to panic, and start doing things hoping that they are the right things. We are inevitably going to stumble then.

But as soon as we seek again His council, we get back on track and begin to follow the way we are supposed to.
