Sorry to disappoint Looney! You would not have paper if not for the Buddhists of ancient China. Medicine would not have advanced if the Yellow emperor of China (a Taoist) didn't keep meticulous records and the printed books were invented by Buddhists in China. Most humans do not believe in your God many more are Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist, Atheist, etc. Why do you think all the buildings, cars and food belong to Christians? Toyota...Japan (Buddhists) Food and Clothes ..China...Buddhists The computer which you use. Made in China?? Count Buddhists..Billions.

That is some of the most twisted logic I ever read and very entertaining. Well done. Thanks.
One thing I'm pretty sure of is that no one in your family had the brain to do anything I benefit from.
All that aside, your FoundingFathers had hardly a Xian among them.
How do you feel about benefiting from their labours?
AND just on the off chance some PetulantPastor or ParasiticPriest has convinced you US was founded on Xian principles - The Treaty of Tripoli says otherwise:
"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."
Then again maybe the old leaders of your nation told lies just like the modern leader of your nation does.
[edit]
May I add that you're benefiting from Bill Gates' efforts here and believe it or no he's not an InvisbleSkyPixieWorshiper either.

All that stuff you said Makes NO SENSE!
There is no God, so the Scientific discoveries that the christian Scientists, well, Discover are not inspired by a higher force, like God. Even if these christian scientists believe they were inspired by God that doesn't make it True!

Your logic is faulty and biased. The buildings, cars, food and what ever, doesn't belong to any one in particular.Man made a God and you are just proving it by defending him,as if He needs to be defended by a mortal human being. It's this kind of fanatic approach by the so called believers that is turning people away from all religions.Granted that Christianity is the largest religion of the world but then it's also true that maximum number of atheists are also ex Christians. No need to get worked up but just think cool.Christianity today needs a kind of leadership which can match the faith with rapid human progression than dragging them back in to the past. There are no more takers for this approach.

First claim is not true. Most humans do NOT believe in your god. Your second statement is also blatant propaganda and you need to furnish reliable sources beore you bandy such misleading information about.
Contradiction?
There is no god and there never has been. Evolution has created a series of mutations to many life forms and mankind is but one, the most successful one but just one of many.
Atheists are not a minority. Again false. Maybe in your street but not generally. You should get out more.
Important? Yes, we are all important on differing levels.
Are all cars made by religious people? What a very silly statement! Is all food produced by religious folk? Get real!
You really are grasping at straws to defend your fantasy life. There is no god - never has and never will be. Just because some people want the fairy story to be true so much, they have convinced themselves that it is true. If one tells a lie often enough, those who never question will inevitably believe it in time. Those who DO question, will eventually realise that religion is a complete folly. A dream-land existence.
Ask yourself these two questions:
Would any politician running for the US presidency in 2008 ever admit that he or she is an atheist? Not a chance. The votes from the public are too important and they will lie to you, as is common from politicians, to just get your support.
Why does your god never ever restore missing limbs to amputees? Supposedly, all one has to do is ask and it shall be given to you ...
Obvious, isn't it?

The (religious) beliefs don't determine what contribution a person makes to humanity. Even if a Christian is a scientist, in the end they are still a scientist so whatever they do will be scientific, and not necessarily based upon their religious views.
And, what about all the products that we use that are made in China? I'm certain that many Chinese are not Christian, so does that mean that as users of their products, that we are also accepting their beliefs? I dont think so. You are using very broad ideas that may sound good on paper, but don't work in real life.
ok, well, unfortunately, all i can say is that your logic is overly simple-minded.

Oh, Looneylu, maybe it was in spite of religion instead of because of religion.
Religion has always attempted to suppress science.
Just look at what is going on in America today. They are still fighting to reject Darwin's Origins of the Species and that was written in 1859. Evolution has come a long way since then.
The Vast majority of scientists are atheists. Look up The Steve Project and see what you get.
If you check back in history and claim the scientists were all Christians, well maybe the fact that anybody who said they were not Christian would have been killed could be a factor in that.

All I can say to that is: you're aptly named.
On second thought, I can say a bit more.
If you walk around enough, does that make you a shoe designer? Generally, using someone's product does not make you resemble them.
I fully recognize that many Christians attribute their success to their god; I just believe they are mistaken.
For an atheist to use things that Christians made is no kind of contradiction at all; it would be a horrible waste of time to try to acquire tools built on purely secular labor. I think.
"Or finally face the possibility that you are important too?"
Mrrmm? I think you've confused atheism with self-loathing.
Obi Wan: curious suggestion. Of course, what we call Christmas wasn't always Christmas. Holidays aren't just for religious purposes; sometimes it's nice to have a break. I'd be happy to take off Tuesdays and Wednesdays instead of Saturdays and Sundays, but if you want to extend the work week I'm afraid you'll have to pay people for more work...and more psychotherapy.

Being wrong in a majority does not change the truth.
For millenia most people believed the Earth was at the centre of teh universe. The point is not that this strength is number made them all right - in fact they were all wrong. Stupidity can be contagious.
And I am human - so of course I use the ideas and buildings and developments made by people of all sorts of faiths. If you have a problem with this for yourself I suggest you immediately stop using your computer, take no more medicine, stop driving anywhere, do not watch TV, stop using electricity etc. All of these developments were made possible by people who were atheists - and by your argument as a result you have no right to use them.

Ahaha, you did a funny.
So, as a believer, are you denying God by using things discovered or invented by atheists? Such as the lightbulb, the telephone (Edison played a big part in this) and the computer.
