If there even is a God, He has absolutely no dealings with Earth any longer.
He might have once rolled up the doughball and set it spinning in the air, but he couldn't care less about what goes on with it all today. And I suspect that, were there really a He there, He couldn't care less what we thought about Him either.
But there's no harm in believing in a God, a little bit of spirituality can be good for a person. It always amazes me how many little idiots rail against Western gods and spirituality, especially Christianity, then prattle off about how advanced Eastern spirituality is by some measure or another.
They all seem silly to me, but they're better than street gangs I guess.

well, i have several speculations on my version of "plausible god".
-God isn't a sentient being
-God has no conscious control over our daily lives/
-God is a form of energy that runs through the universe. kind of like "The Force" from star wars. lol. This force may or may not have an impact on our decision making. The force is within us, so we are also god to an extent. as are all things.
yada yada yada. on my more religious days, i put stock in that.

He really is the best friend and most faithful friend that I have ever had. He is trustworthy, and I love Him. I will be with Him always because He is with me, and that will not ever stop.
There is no one like God, and I am glad of it.
He's the only one who gives me a feeling of belonging.
For I am a child of rape and a broken family, and another that is dysfunctional, I appreciate His generosity beyond what this world can give.
And you know what? He has been leading me to Him all my life, even when I didn't know it.

The God character in the bible is a narcissistic, petty, malicious individual. I would dislike him.
The creator God of any faith also has a lot to explain. Why did he make the universe? Did he think it would be fun? Was he bored? Didn't he think of the poor little creatures that would eventually suffer all kinds of physical and psychological maladies, only to end in death, for no other reason than he made us and we just have to deal with that? Kneel to that monster? No thanks.

The peace that passeth all understanding is not thinking.... it is "surrender." And surrender is letting go of everything, including my small thoughts.
Be still, and the progress comes. This is that worship in spirit that has been overlooked by most. So thinking of God is not the way.

Absolutely amazing being. Really can't describe what I think of God without going on and on. I believe in Him whole heartedly.
