Wow, it is just the internet, why are people concerned about rudeness on the internet? It isn't real life, go cry about it somewhere else....

Rudeness is not necessarily a waste of time, sometimes it is the best way to get a point across.

People should not be rude just because it is the internet. Being rude on a reply is very annoying because it is a pointless reply and a waste of time. Plus people do not like rude remarks on there questions. They are looking for answers not some smart @$$'s comment on there question. I see you are one of them. The internet is sort of like real life since these are real people we are talking to. Sure they don't know us in real life, but if they are rude it can hurt a little bit to some people. I don't think it'd make me sad, I just know that there will always be rude people and I cannot stop them because thats the world we live in. just because it is the internet doesn't give you the right to be rude to people...

I agree with you that we shouldn't get all worked up over it, but still, it is frustrating to encounter such blatantly rude questions and/or answers from people who display such poor manners, when most of us are here for entertainment or to learn something and we are not asking to be bashed for no reason. I see your point though. We ought to just forget about it and move on.

hmm, perhaps because sometimes people go over the top and really get ugly here, unnecessarily so. I have had some things written back at me that were unbelievably vicious. No, it isn't real life, but words can hurt, and people can be horrible to each other. And here they can be particularly mean bc you aren't face to face with them

people here are seperated into 2 side . religious and atheist.
either side think each other is wrong . 1 side particularly felt insulted when their belief or 'evidence' is questioned.
when such happen , it's regarded as rudeness. its sad.

I get complaints about me all the time. Just because I tell the truth. You can complain about anyone for any reason. If you don't like their answer then complain. Their answer will be deleted and they will lose 11 points. No trial, no jury.

I dont know *why*..but you can bet that those that whine are the same ones that complain to yahoo staff and get people violations and suspended accts
