You'll be fine. It will take a llllooooonngg time to digest but you will be okay. As long as you don't swallow chewing gum like everyday there is nothing wrong with it. It happens to lots of people. Nothing to worry about.

It gets stretched throughout your intestines and within a few days after swallowing it, will start to come out the back end in one long thin strand that you'll have to keep wiping and wiping and wiping. That is, this is what happens if you're lucky. If you're less lucky, then the gases in your stomach will blow bubbles in the gum and you'll have horrendous aches and pains as it passes through your system, finally to blow out the back end at most likely a most embarrassing moment.

Actually, it just gets digested. Nothing of particular note happens. But the truth can be so boring sometimes.

Nothing but I wouldn't make a habit of it. I always heard that if you swallow too much of it, it could clog your intestines or something like that. Probably just something my mom told me when I was a child.

Nothing really. Your body just can't digest it. You'll pass it everntually.
