Alcool can freeze but at very low temperatures starting - 45 C.
Domestic appliances dont go below 20 degrees. Vodka becomes jelly like at - 20 C.

80 proof vodka will freeze at approximately -26.95C or -16.51F. 100 proof vodka will freeze at approximately -40.43C or -40.78F.
I learned this the hard way. I was around 11. I drank my friend's mom vodka well like half of it and filled it up with water, she keeps it in the freezer. Well you should know what happens next haha.

alcohol can freeze just not at the temperature your freezer is set at.
it's different chemical composition means it is harder for the molecules to pack together and freeze

`coz you're not freezing it.
('freezers' only freeze stuff slightly lighter than water; alcohol is too light)
