I think Matt should have signed it. That was a truly dedicated
fan to take such a risk. The PR could have had a ball with that.
And the sponsors would have loved it. Not to mention, it would have been an all around nice thing for Matt to do.

Yes, I believe Matt should have signed. IF the fan was willing to do that and get in that big of trouble, he apparently is a dedicated fan of his. I have tons of autographs by him though and they are not hard to get. All he would have had to do is come to Wisconsin.

Matt would've been in the hauler at the end of the race getting his *** chewed and fined! (when everyone knows that Kevin should've been in the hauler getting HIS *** chewed and fined).
Matt made the right choice!

No because Nascar would have probably fined him for signing it saying it would give any fan the right to run out on the track.
