Can we agree to disagree? We all have our opinions and reasons for them. There is no need for all this finger pointing and ignorance. I admit my fair share of faults at answering questions and posting questions. But what is the point? We are going to disagree anyway.

TheScammers told TheGullible that ThePixie watched and knew EVERYTHING they said, thought and did, 24/7 and, even if they couldn't REALLY hear it, ThePixie was telling them alla time: If you don't love me and suck up to me and be MyBïtch 24/7, I’m gonna send you to burn in hell for all eternity.
Obviously TheGullible couldn’t risk of going to hell and enduring all that pain (never stopping to think that the body goes in the ground or is cremated at death) so they acquiesced to TheScammers, demands for money in the shape of Tythes or Alms or just plain old everyday Psychological CarrotStick Manipulation in the form of ‘gimme, gimme’..
TheScammers also conned TheGullible into believing that if they talked in a special way (talking in tongues is a recent USian addition) ThePixie might, if he thinks you’ve been really, really good, give you what you asked for.
TheScammers knew that by natural law enough of these ‘wishes’ were granted whether they were preyed (woops) prayed for or not.

Live and let live is a wonderful way to go. However, the problem is that there are too many people wanting their religion pushed on others. There are too many people out there wanting people to convert. There are too many people out there wanting laws crafted that support their religion or share views with their religion. There are too many people out there wanting to stamp out any science that disagrees with religion. There are too many people out there wanting to squash any disagreement with religion.
Once these are stopped, then it will be possible for all sides to not bother the other. As long as religion keeps poking others then there will be problems.

I am neither, but I do have an answer for you.
Christians are duty-bound to convince everyone on Earth of their viewpoint--or condemn them to death. When they are in power, they don't mind doing the killing themselves.
Atheists have seen many people suffer due to Christianity. Many atheists are morally driven, and don't appreciate being proselytized by people who openly hate minorities (read: gays, the environment) and who have a history of mistreatment against whomever they dislike (read: scientists, 'witches,' left-handers, blacks, other Christians, Jews, Muslims, pagans, etc.)
It would be great to simply 'agree to disagree' but Christians 'believe' they are entitled to condemn anyone who 'doesn't beleive.'

Every night two or three of you guys come in here and try to make peace. If we all agree to disagree, then we can shut down the whole site.
How about if we agree to disagree with you and you can move on and let those of us here who enjoy a good discussion continue with our activities uninterrupted by your group hugs?

Well said,, I find few like you,,
We all are human and like it or not we all have our ways, which is fine.
We can ask things, but it doesnt have to be so rude, really alot are child like.. silly people even the young to the old...
it gets us no place.. You know for me Im a true christian, we the few understand, we should not offend others, like they doing here in Y ahoo answers, most following another way, which is fine.. but to be rude,, we get no place...

This is a nice idea. It really and truly is. But you do know it isn't going to happen right. YA's R&S section has become a religous battleground. No one is going to give in and wave a white flag until they win. No one is able to win so it won't happen. Sorry.
