I lied about my age on a credit card application. i have been employed since 2005, so I do have the money to pay off any charges I would make. I turn 18 in about a month, I was wondering what the consequences would be if I lied about my age on a credit card application.

This is fraud you would be criminaly convicted have a record for life and at your age I doubt jail yet if caught they would prob make you do some community service and put you on a bond of good behavior.

If your employer dose crim history checks you would most likly be fired and would find it hard to be re employed. Honey you a very silly little girl you should have known better!. Remember they may not know now but from the date of application they have 12 years if in that period you Get caught for this one mistake your life could be ruined. All I can say if they dont catch you and i hope they dont I would be having a very big party on my 30th birthday to celebrate it as untill then you will allways need to have this in the back of your mind,
NEVER DO IT AGAIN!!!!!

Credit card fraud. Fines and/or jail time depending on how much damage you do.
