what will a perfromance chip do?

i got a 1998 neon its pretty fast i ordered my K&N cold air intake and i was what a new perfromance chip do to my car

i didn't get a chip but i got my timing advanced for $20 at my local mechanic and there are other things to do that give more gains for cheaper

aftermarket chips will provide VERY noticeable power gains (usually around 15kw up to 30kw just by installing the aftermarket chip) as well as enabling you to safely run more boost (this can be limited by turbo or fuel supply). They can be used in cars with stock injectors and AFM or if you have modified fuel pressures, injectors, AFM, intercooler or turbo they can be reprogrammed to suit before the chip is installed.
