A good place to find out more about organic foods is from the FDA at: http://www.fda.gov and also the Dept of Agriculture.

Also, check with some Natural/health food stores like Whole Foods or Wild Oats (if in your area). I've tasted a few organic items before and thought it was pretty tasty. It was a nice surprise after I first tasted some of it.

Well they are all not more dangerous than any non-organic food.

The juice you remember was an "unpasteurized" apple juice by Odwalla and sold at Starbuck shops and meny other stores. It was contaminated with E.coli (one dead kid and many more in the hospital) but this had nothing to do with being or not organic, the problem was that the product was "unpasteurized", that's it, and that has nothing to do with organic products, they can be pasteteurized as any other product.

And by the way, as far as I know Odwalla din't claim to have an organict products. All thay said it's that their products are natural; and there is a diference between just "natural" and "organic".

So don't be scare of organic products just for a stupid company that decided not pazteurize their product. Just read the lable when buying any 100% natural juice, because they nee to be pasteurized.
