Indian Princess,
To make a very educated comparrison go to tirerack.com and open up any individual tire. Under the word survey, they actually perform tire testing that does at least a dozen tests including the ones you asked above. Compare brands in the size your looking for. Both Michelin and Yokohama will smoke a Goodyear any day. Be careful of high priced Bridgestones, they are crummy in the snow and ice. As the other person has already stated see how the BF Goodritch stacks up with the rest. It's going to take time to compare all these tires but new ones are a big investment and I'd want to be as well informed as possible.
Tirerack has a free plone # to answer any other questions you may have.

They are both good, but I prefer Goodyear. You may want to check in "The consumers report".The make and model of the car makes no difference.NASCAR uses Goodyear,so that should tell you something.
