If people sold tame, hand reared finches, would you want to buy one? What species?

Me personally, I would love a small flock of tiny finches following me around. :D

(and no, I'm not considering hand rearing finches, heh)

I have a 5 year old hand reared Zebra finch named Sprout and he has been a truly wonderful pet. He has the bold, outgoing, interactive personality of a hand fed parrot. He was brought to me as a tiny thing requiring hand rearing. I have never had the nerve or the heart to purposely pull any of my Zebra's babies to hand feed so I don't know if how he turned out is the exception or the rule.

I think it would be great. I actually hand raised some zebra finches when their parents met an unfortunate end at a friends house. They didn't know what to do with the babies that were only 2 days old, so I took them in. It was a TON of work keeping something that little fed and warm enough at all times but was very very worth it. I loved having the 3 little ones fly right to me when I got home from work and could let them out of their cage for awhile and would come right too me if I called them.

That would be the coolest thing ever! I'd like a tame gouldian finch! I've always had a fantasy of having a bird that just lived in the wild an came when it was called and landed on my arm. :D

Do you think of infants and young ones extremely care the place there outfits come from or what label they are? i'm a mum of two and mine are continuously nicely dressed whether 2nd hand or no longer. you will get practically type new fashion designer stuff for a fraction of the value 2nd hand. My young ones grew out of their stuff so speedy it became somewhat used. i've got given such attractive outfits to charity shops as have many different mums because of the fact they're some distance too stable to chuck out. placed it this way; a baby or infant will placed on an outfit sparkling on for some million hour in the journey that your fortunate then that is lined in allsorts and needs washing -so its no longer type new anymore and who's familiar with if it became 2nd hand or a sparkling outfit first of all besides?

I would. I love finches. They have a beautiful song and they are lively and fun to watch flit around. One day I hope to own an aviary full of finches (if my husband ever gets arond to building it)!
