Go ahead and stop it, real or imagined I don't care but what if you stop it and it's real. And maybe we was supposed to be global warming and by stopping it we make global cooling and we turn the global into a freezy- popsickle?

Some people are selfish because they know they won't live till that day to witness the actual global warming effect.
Some people just grew tired for all the hardwork and efford spent but no results and worst of all, the other people are not showing any support to stop global warming and it is really discouraging.

It cannot be stopped really. We can reduce the speed with which it all happening, if everyone contributes.
Some people refuse to believe this is happening, despite all the facts.
In other cases - people in countries with developing economy like China have to choose weather to improve their economy and reduce poverty by building more polluting factories and produce loads of products for export, or just stop country from developing and let their people dye of malnutrition and lack of simple things we are all used to - somewhere to sleep, medical care, education etc.
It is a tough choice - and you know which one they would pick .

Some of us are smart enough to understand that it's unstoppable. This is nature at it's finest. Global warming is nature, we're nature, the cure will be nature.

It is not a matter that people do not want to stop Global warming.
According to the best estimates for us to have any chance of stopping Global Warming we would have to cut back world wide carbon dioxide emissions to less than 10% of what they are today.
To achieve those kinds of cutbacks you would have to shut down all of the world's economies.
The result would be unemployment, poverty and misery on a scale that we have never seen in modern history.
Unfortunately stopping global Warming has a very high price attached to it.
Although stopping Global Warming is an important goal it also has a very high cost attached to it. That cost is payable immediately.
The alternative, not stopping Global Warming has a cost attached to it also, however we will not see those costs for another 20 to 30 years.
The very high immediate cost of stopping Global Warming is what gives people some hesitancy about demanding that we do whatever is necessary to cut carbon dioxide emissions to less than 10% of what they are today.

Some people don't believe that we can, some people are just following party lines and some have real concerns about the policies that might be implemented as an attempt to stop it.

alot of people dont want to have to switch over to different products. also America's economy is based on oil. if people use enviornment safe products it is bad for the economy and it drops. Alot of people dont want to admit it but thats the truth. It will hurt our economy unless we come up with a good plan.....but in reality we realy on oil. My sisters senior project was on global warming. Alot of people dont care about the earth but only about what they want. its selfish. However alot of people are becomming aware...and changes are being made every day. the enviorment has improved but still has a long long way to go.

It's simple, they don't want to get rid of the contributors to global warming. Example, people who drives a car that "eats" a lot of gas don't want to convert their habit to a better less-eating-gas vehicle. It's like smoking, it's hard to quit it.
