I have a Black and White cat... does anyone know what kind of cat it is?

The technical term is 'bicolor' which refers to the color pattern; the breed would be called 'domestic short hair' or 'domestic long hair' depending on what length fur he has. Some people call these cats 'tuxedo' if they have a white chest and completely black neck; but plain old 'black and white' will do.

Could it be a tuxedo kitty? thats not a breed, just it's markings, they have white up their chests and black on the sides, they look like they're wearing a tuxedo.

Unless you got it from a breeder, it's just a domestic shorthair. 99% of cats are domestic shorthair. Color doesn't indicate a breed, even siamese coloring can be on non-siamese cats.
