It depends on what kind of diving. All branches utilize diving. You could be a Navy underwater demolition team. A surprise recon team in the Army. It all depends on what you want to do. Or you could be a SEAL.
Id go with the Navy Demolition team. The course is challenging though. But not a lot of people are qualified for it and it gives you prestige. If your a good diver or have been diving for years then go with it. If you don't want to be made for combat and want to work with technical part then go with the Navy Demolition.

The Army has more divers and more boats than the Navy. The Army does mostly construction and recovery jobs. As a commercial diver I worked with many Army divers. You don't need to be in an elite special forces to be a diver.

The Navy. Divers in the Marine Corps and Army (if we even have any) would undoubtedly be combat oriented.
